Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the D' Emporio Global Private Limited website, our quotations, samples and supply contracts. By using the site or engaging us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of business

D' Emporio Global Private Limited is a business-to-business (B2B) furniture manufacturer and exporter. We do not retail to consumers. All quotations and orders are commercial transactions between businesses.

2. Website content

Images, drawings, copy, logos and brand elements on the site are owned by D' Emporio or used under licence. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission. Product photos are representative, actual goods may show natural variation in timber grain, finish and upholstery shade.

3. Inquiries, quotations and samples

  • Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Sample and prototype costs are billed separately and are non-refundable. See the Sample & Freight Policy.
  • An order is confirmed only when we counter-sign a Proforma Invoice and receive the agreed advance.

4. Production, lead time and tolerances

  • Standard lead time is 8–12 weeks from approved sample and received advance, subject to material availability.
  • Dimensional tolerance is ±10 mm on handmade timber components, in line with international hand-crafted furniture norms.
  • Wood is a natural material, colour and grain variation between batches is expected and is not a manufacturing defect.

5. Pricing, taxes and Incoterms

Prices are quoted in USD or EUR unless stated. Default Incoterm is FOB Mundra, India. CIF, CFR, EXW and DDP are available on request and may carry additional charges. Buyers are responsible for import duties, VAT/GST on import, customs clearance and last-mile delivery.

6. Payment terms

  • 30% advance with order, 70% against scan copy of Bill of Lading.
  • Wire transfer (TT) in USD or EUR to our designated bank account. L/C accepted from confirmed banks on request.
  • All bank charges outside India are borne by the buyer.

7. Shipping and risk

Risk passes per the agreed Incoterm. We pack for international sea freight as standard (export-grade cartons, pallets or fumigated wooden crates where required). We do not provide marine insurance unless the agreed Incoterm requires it (e.g. CIF), buyers are encouraged to arrange their own insurance.

8. Inspection, claims and warranty

  • Buyer or its appointed inspector may inspect goods at our facility before sealing of the container.
  • Claims for visible damage must be made within 14 days of container arrival, supported by photos and a packing-condition report.
  • We warrant frames against manufacturing defects for 12 months from container loading, normal wear, misuse, outdoor exposure of indoor products and customer-supplied materials (COM/COL) are excluded.

9. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, port strikes, war, sanctions, pandemics, and shipping-line schedule changes.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajkot, Gujarat. For EU buyers, mandatory consumer-protection provisions are not affected, however, since we deal only with businesses, consumer-protection laws generally do not apply.
